7 Abril – Despedida do Arroz (Rice goodbye)

Durante uns dias, pudémos contar com a presença do Arroz, veio cá visitar Estocolmo e conhecer este belo país! Aqui ficam algumas fotos da sua ultima noite por terras nórdicas:

For some days, we had the visit of Rice, he came to visit Stockholm and get to know this beautiful country. There you go some photos of his last night in northern lands:

12 a 14 Abril – Viagem a Tallinn, Estonia (Trip to Tallinn, Estonia)

Esta viagem, organizada pelo ESN (Erasmus Student Network), contou com a presença de mais de 500 estudantes Erasmus. Sim, leram bem, 500 estudantes! Das mais variadas universidades da Suécia! E todos eles couberam no cruzeiro da Silja Line. Ora, esta viagem foi de sábado a 2ªfeira, e temos a dizer que o barquinho ate tinha o seu requinte! Mesmo com as cabines a terem a mesma dimensão das cabines da Viking Line, desta vez tivemos direito a televisão no quarto! upa upa!

This trip, organized by ESN, had the presence of more than 500 Erasmus students. Yes! 500! From all over Sweden! And all of them fit in the Silja Line cruise. This trip was from Saturday until Monday, and we have to say that the boat had his refinement! Even with the same size as the Viking Line cabins, this ones even had television! Yeah!

Como podem ter percebido pelo vídeo, não ficámos os portugueses todos na mesma cabine, uma vez que cada uma tem capacidade máxima de 4 pessoas. Sendo assim, numa cabine fiquei eu, Pedro, Carlos e Alex. Noutra cabine Rodrigo, Gonçalo, Julien e Xandra (Holandesa). A referir ainda a presença da maioria do pessoal aqui do prédio de Sundbyberg nesta viagem. Aqui ficam algumas fotos da primeira noite:

As you could realize in the video, the Portuguese people didn’t stayed all together, as the cabins only have space for 4 people. So, in one cabin it was me, Pedro, Carlos and Alex. In another one Rodrigo, Gonçalo, Julien and Xandra (Dutch). And to add the presence of many people from Sundbyberg in this trip. Some photos of the first night:

Ora, e qual o estado do tempo aquando da nossa chegada a Tallinn? Isso mesmo, chuva! Começamos mal… Enfim, passámos o dia a passear pela baixa de Tallinn, mesmo com a chuva constantemente a cair. Desta viagem há a reter algumas coisas:

• Bandeira da Estónia: 45€ (o mais barato que encontrámos, que obviamente não comprámos)
• Querer almoçar comida típica estoniana num restaurante que viemos a saber ser francês, após já estarmos a ver o menu, onde almoçámos comida típica italiana (pizzas e massas)
• Cidade bonita para ver com sol, não com chuva
• Estonianos não falam muito bem inglês
• Conseguimos encontrar a embaixada portuguesa em Tallinn em 7horas de estadia, mas ainda não encontrámos a dita em Estocolmo em quase 4 meses de estadia… (menos o Gonçalo, que já teve esse privilégio)

Can you guess the weather in Tallinn when we arrived? Yes, rain! We walked all day in the Tallinn’s downtown, even with the constant rain. Some things to say about this trip:

• Estonian Flag: 45€ (the cheapest one, which obviously we didn’t buy)
• We wanted to lunch Estonian food in a restaurant we knew after it was French, where we ate Italian food (pizzas and pasta)
• Beautiful city to see with sun, not with rain
• Estonian people don’t speak so good English
  
• We found the Portuguese embassy in Tallinn in 7 hours, but we haven’t found yet the embassy in Stockholm, in almost 4 months…

Após esta visita a Tallinn, foi voltar a Estocolmo, no mesmo cruzeiro, para mais uma noite!

After this trip to Tallinn, just turn around and go back to Stockholm in the same cruise, for one more night!

Viagem a Kiruna (Trip to Kiruna)

Para quem não sabe, Kiruna fica no norte da Suécia, como podem ver no mapa:

For the ones who don’t know, Kiruna is in the north of Sweden, as you can see in the map:

Ora, sendo este sitio no norte… podem imaginar a quantidade de neve que lá encontrámos! Só temos a dizer que foi das nossas melhores viagens, se não a melhor! Kiruna é simplesmente lindo!

As being in the north… you can imagine the amount of snow we found! We just want to say that it was one of the best trips… if it wasn’t the best! Kiruna is just amazing!

Um dos sítios que visitámos foi o Ice Hotel… Um hotel todo ele feito de gelo. Tivemos a sorte de ir no último dia em que está aberto, não pagando nada para entrar xD Tipo promoção de ultimo dia!

One of the places we visited was the Ice Hotel… An hotel made only with ice. We had the luck to go in the last day open, and because of that we didn’t pay nothing to enter xD Like last day discount!

Tivemos ainda a oportunidade de fazer duas actividades únicas: Andar de trenó puxado por cães e mota de neve! Simplesmente único!!! Mais fotos para confirmar (a referir o facto do Pedro ter tido um pequeno desvio num lago gelado, fazendo com que a mota partisse o gelo e consequentemente mandando os pobres coitados que iam atrás, incluindo eu, para bem perto da agua gelada, que o Rodrigo sentiu na pele):

We had the change to make two unique activities: dog sledge and snowmobile! Amazing! Some more photos to confirm (just to say that Pedro made a little detour to a frozen lake, making the snowmobile break some ice and throwing the rest of the people, including me, pretty close to the iced water, which Rodrigo felt in the skin):

Ainda houve tempo para visitar a Noruega. Apanhámos um comboio que tem como destino a cidade de Narvik. Deu para visitar um Museu de História e almoçar das melhores carnes de rena que comemos até agora. O Pedro ainda se aventurou a comprar carne de baleia, a qual todos demos uma trinca!

We still had time to visit Norway. We catch the train to Narvik. Visited some History Museum and lunched one of the best dear meat. Pedro even bought whale meat, and we all tried it!

A referir por fim a ida à sauna que existia no hostel em que ficámos. Ora, intercalada com a sauna houve umas idas à neve, para sentir o quentinho… oh yeah!

Finally we went to the sauna in the hostel we stayed. In the middle of that, let’s go to the snow, to feel the warm… oh yeah!
